GS Gate

This is a single sign-on (SSO) project, connecting all Global Share projects through a single sign-in/up, step giving access to all Global Share services.

Global Share Vision for the Gate Project:

Global Share users can log on to any of our services, with the same log-in information ie. username and password.

Project Mission:

Build and maintain a single sign-on service that is fast, easy to use.

Technology Stack:

• Frontend: React.
• Backend: Node.js with OAuth2.0 implementation.
• Database: PostgreSQL

Management Framework:

Scrum with Kanban (Scrumban)

Project Stage:

The research phase is done, and we will use the OAuth 2.0 standard with the OpenID Connect implementation. We’re forming our Gate Project team, now.

Since Global Share has many projects, Single Sign-On (SSO), a user authentication service that permits a user to use one set of login credentials saves our visitors the pain of logging in for each visit. We only need one account to access all Global Share projects and applications.
