Our first two features, events shop and ask community targets two user groups:

  1. Community Members who are working on achieving an academic or career goal through attending online workshops and networking events where their questions can be answered by expertise.
    1. Those highly interested in getting support to achieve their academic or career goals in a year or less. They are motivated to attend events, ask questions and collaborate with others.
  2. Expert Members or organisations or communities who are interested in providing online development opportunities and answering their community’s questions in one centralised place.
    1. Those highly interested in giving back to their community and achieving tangible social impact in supporting individuals to achieve their academic or career goals.

The title, according to GS's terminology: Performance Management Specialist
Location: Online
Type: Voluntary.
Weekly hours needed: 4 Hours or more.

You will initially work on our Hive squad. The Hive squad's role is to develop and implement policies, programmes and effective Human Resources Management that support all GS squads in meeting their goals and challenges aligning with GS values and strategies.

You will be responsible for developing and executing programs and projects to evaluate, measure and improve employee performance to ensure all volunteers meet their individual objectives in compliance with Global Share ones.

You will work on a variety of tasks, including:

  • Review all squads’ functional /individual objectives to ensure they are SMART and cascaded.
  • Prepare KPIs and ensure they are approved.
  • Prepare the Volunteer Performance Evaluation cycles, including the appraisal system.
  • Implement the competency framework system and train squads’ orchestrators to carry out competency assessments, determine volunteers' development needs and provide support
  • Prepare procedures and policies related to appraisal and performance management systems.
  • Review and follow up on the Volunteers' Performance Evaluation, including probation period, rotation, vertical, lateral and managerial promotions evaluations and handle their complaints.
  • Keep all related systems updated with the updated competencies.

Required

  • At least 2 - 3 years of professional experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or any relevant field.
  • Excellent industry awareness and understanding of the performance management evaluation needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of performance management concepts, theories, related practices and tools.
  • Strong communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
  • Excellent English Skill

Preferred

  • Experience in voluntary work.
